Happy times are when I'm at my sewing machine or have a needle in my hand, building layers of texture, adding embellishments to make something new and intriguing.

I'm also an eclectic gatherer anything old - artefacts, collectibles with social history, mysterious traditions, new discoveries - it's all about peeling back the layers to learn about who we are.

By chance both of these fascinations came together as Handmade Histories. It's a journey that constantly changes and challenges me.

Hope you enjoy browsing my website which I dabble with, changing what's in it from time to time, depending on where Handmade Histories is "at" - making a mural, sharing the love of crafting in workshops or working on another book.
